the hotel was a quaint little place, if one enjoys cobwebs and dirty cups. the absence of toiletries and hangers was charming, as was the extra hard mattress. with absolutely no complimentary welcome gift or gesture, my heart wept. i almost left a glowing review, but couldn’t overlook the chaos that ensued.

A lovely view of the river Wye from the room creates a peaceful ambiance. The host was welcoming and the location is ideal with a pub right across the road.

There was a noticeable smell, possibly from smoke, and the shared hairdryer was missing, which made getting ready a hassle. I also encountered a broken TV and a toilet seat that was coming off, which definitely detracted from the experience.

Stayed one night. The location by the river was sweet as, but the lack of breakfast and a comfy chair in the room was a bummer!

Great location for canoeing, and the pub across the road is a winner for relaxing evenings.

the whitehouse has stunning views over the river wye! i felt at home with the warm welcome from the staff 😌. perfect location for exploring nearby parks and gardens. a great spot for those who cherish river walks.

Had a lovely stay in the Single Room with Shower! The bed was a perfect firmness for a great night's sleep, and the bathroom was very clean. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the town and a charming pub right across the road for breakfast.

The decor could use some updating.

I was really impressed with how comfy the bed was and how well the WiFi worked for streaming on my phone. The hotel offers a lovely garden area to relax in and a cozy lounge for unwinding after a long day. Just a heads-up, the bathroom could use a little more space to store your things, but overall, it was a great stay! 😊

It was just a commendable fit for a stopover in Ross-on-Wye with great value for the money. The location is perfect for exploring nearby cafes and the town center. Best to have a backup plan for breakfast if you need something early.
